Programming and Commissioning Engineer

Kinly Ltd are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our London based team. The role of the Commissioning Engineer is to provide technical validation of system design, control and monitoring systems programming and GUI design, DSP configuration, and full technical commissioning and testing of newly installed systems.


  1. Troubleshooting & technical commissioning of video conference and associated audio visual equipment in the UK & Europe
  2. Onsite programming of control systems and digital signal audio processors (DSP). Systems will range from Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, Clearone, and Soundstucture
  3. Test & repair site based termination faults within reason, including - power, data, audio, video and control cabling
  4. Configure VC systems, including performing internal and external test calls with client (if required)
  5. If not completed in system test, DSP code loading (or creating test code), control code loading (or creating test code), manipulation of all devices to ensure full performances to schematics and scope of works achieved
  6. Ability to manipulate DSP code to suit room acoustics and customer requirement
  7. Ability to manipulate control code to suit site conditions and customer requirement
  8. Ensure video, audio, control and data signals are all correct and within company standards
  9. Work with the Project Services Manager to forecast workloads and PS utilization for projects
  10. Provide user training on audio visual and video conferencing systems


  1. Must have an advanced knowledge for AV and VC systems
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  3. Well organized with good attention to detail
  4. Proficient in the use of Word & Excel
  5. Infocomm CTS – Could have
  6. Cisco CIVND – Could have
  7. Crestron Programming certification – Could have
