OVERVIEW

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Kinly’s highly disciplined Pre-Sales department delivering high-end video conferencing, audio DSP, AMX/Crestron-driven integrated environments to finance and corporate clients, you will be responsible for video conferencing and audio visual solution design, specifying and technical signing off 3rd party designed solutions (as required) for clients and partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Design of video conferencing, audio visual and collaboration solutions.
  2. Communicate and document technical and business information to widely varied audiences and in line with client requirements.
  3. Production of responses to Requests for Information and Requests for Pricing.
  4. Specify equipment and allocate service quantities to cost sheets.
  5. Work with sales personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities. To include attending client meetings, conducting site surveys, providing data sheets, production of proof of concept schematics and scope of works where appropriate/as required.
  6. Responsible for staying abreast of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems. This includes interacting with Product Management and Development on an on-going basis to stay current.
  7. Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, etc.
  8. Responsible for staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  1. Excellent technical knowledge of AV & VC equipment for all major brands.
  2. An up to date knowledge of the AV marketplace including products and trends.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  5. Experience with CAD.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.
  7. Ability to understand project schedules and plans.
  8. Well organised with good attention to detail.
  9. Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and Visio.
